Erica attended beauty school on the Gulf Coast 15 years ago and was a hairstylist until 2019. She came up with the concept of Shoe Shield after ruining countless pairs of shoes while coloring and dying her clients' hair. 

“I would cover my shoes in foil or even take my shoes off during color,” Erica recalls. "Expensive, cheap…didn’t matter…I was tired of spending money buying new shoes!”

With the support of coworkers, family, and friends, she spent a year designing, revising, and perfecting the patent pending Shoe Shield design. What originally started as a product strictly for hairstylists, Shoe Shield is now the solution to the spillage problem seen across industry sectors.
